We share our home with a huge white & black Greyhound named Joe (35k) and two lurchers, Tizzy who is white, she is a Greyhound x Terrier of some sort and Eavie (aka Evil) who is a black Greyhound/Whippet x Collie (we think)Both of our Lurchers came from the Chiltern dog rescue centre which is where Wiz came from. Bed time in our house is a riot as we let our babies sleep in our room. During the night we tend to have various visitors to the duvet, or in Eavies case to my pillow. After the life they have all had, an uncomfortable night is a small sacrifice. To see all three of our fur babies so happy makes it all worthwhile.

You don't know me but I think that Lurchers are the most adorable dogs ever. I was lucky enough to be best friends with lurcher called Hurricane when I was about four. She was ten years old when we had her but she was so well-behaved. She used to catch rabbits with a lamp and would not venture out of the house if one of the hunters so much as showed her they were carrying a gun. Wish I could home of your lovely lurchers but my husband would stop speaking to me if I brought one home. Come to think of it that may not be a bad thing eh!!!
